Triptych - Episode 2 Summary & Recap
Some truth
At the beginning of the episode, we get a flashback to Rebecca’s revenge moment, where she lit Commander Solana’s car on fire. Commander Solana saw that she was the one who burnt his car, but he did not report it.
Back to the original timeline, we found out that Aleida’s family is wealthy and owned hospital chains throughout the country. They then tried to hide the truth by blaming the attack on another mental institute patient, and painting Aleida as the victim that has gone missing. Commander Solana understood that Rebecca was incredibly affected. So, he gave Rebecca three sick days to get better.
At night, Rebecca’s mom came clean. She admitted that she adopted Rebecca through illegal methods as they had no luck through legal ways. As the adoption is illegal, she did not keep any paperwork on Rebecca’s birth mother. She also asked that Rebecca do
Videos of Aleida’s therapy with Dr. Bátiz also revealed some information. Previously, Aleida seemed to be able to feed what her triplet sisters are feeling at the same time. She ended up doing things that she don’t understand and ended up in places she never knew.
Investigating Aleida
The next day, Eugenio visited Dr. Bátiz to get some information about Aleida’s state of mind before her death. Rebecca was at the hospital too, and took this opportunity to hide in Eugenio’s car trunk. When Eugenio reached home, Rebecca overheard his conversation with his mother in-law, Pilar.
Turns out, Aleida was walking out naked to the streets in the middle of the night. She also ran away to kill Dr. Bátiz the day Eugenio took her out of the clinic. Eugenio and Pilar wanted to hide Aleida’s death from the public because Eugenio was concerned about the impact on the company.
When Eugenio hung up and took a bath, Rebecca went around the house and could somehow feel or see Aleida’s memories. One that impacted her most was when Aleida lost her son, Alex after Alex drowned in the swimming pool. Rebecca also found out that Aleida had known about Rebecca for a while. She kept photos of Rebecca and some other places, like a club and a dodgy neighborhood called The Slipper Place. Rebecca seemed to get a sense of her other triplet sister in the Olympia Men’s Club.
Tamara
Rebecca wasted no time and headed to The Slipper Place the next day. At first, a woman called her Tamara and started kissing her, while telling her to run away. Sure enough, a big man soon arrived and punched Rebecca, thinking that she is Tamara. Rebecca managed to escape. That night, Commander Solana visited her and the two had sex.
Then, the following night, Rebecca visited the Olympia Men’s Club. Sure enough, she saw someone identical to her there pole dancing. As she move closer to get a better view, the her triplet sister noticed Rebecca, and was also shocked to see someone with the same face.
Additional Observations From Episode 2
